More books!

We've received a ton of emails and pictures from you this week verifying that the books are being delivered and people are starting their campaigns! Yesterday we sent out the hyperlinked pdf version of the Vurt Player's Guide to everyone who had that included in their reward tier. So you can start distributing the pdf to your players and have them work on their characters between games!

If you don't have your Player's Guide pdf, and it was part of your Kickstarter reward tier, go to your backerkit account page and click on digital downloads. It should be there! If not send me an email at [email protected] and I will help you get your copy.

The GM screen inserts are designed and we had intended to release them with this update, but we didn't quite get the final layout finished, so they will be along in a day or so. I apologize for the delay on this, but it's important that we get the design of the GM side looking right. We've tweaked the inpho that is displayed on them to be supremely useful for Vurt adventures, of course, and I think you'll be pleased.

I know that these seem like very small projects to be taking so much time, but we're also focusing on solving the small shipping issues that have come up, so we can make sure everyone gets their books in a timely fashion. For those of you who have autographed copies on the way, the reason that you are still waiting for your shipment is because your copies are en route to the warehouse. For these books an additional shipping phase was required to get them signed and ready for delivery. Never fear, they'll be along very soon!

THE BOOKS ARE SHIPPING!

Greetings Featherheads!

Just a quick update this week to let you know that we have confirmation: many of you have received your tracking information, and a few of you have already gotten your books! The shipments are going out in waves like we indicated they would in our previous update. So, if you don't have your tracking inpho yet, hold fast, it will be along shortly. 

By next Monday's update you will also have received the hyperlinked version PDF of the Vurt Player's Guide and the GM-screen inserts. We're working on the desktop backgrounds and will try to have those done by next week as well. Stay tuned for a notification email from Backerkit telling you those digital rewards are available.

Fly, books! Fly!

I'm pleased to announce that the long-awaited ship date is upon us! Starting tomorrow morning, your Kickstarter rewards will begin shipping! That means that the shipping info that is loaded into your Backerkit profile is locked in and you should all be thumbing through your Vurt game books soon! 

If you have not locked in your Backerkit shipping information or completed your survery, this is your last chance to do it, so get over there and make sure it is correct! If you requested that we process your shipping information manually, please double check that you have contacted us with the correct information. Please send me an email at [email protected] with your shipping info so I can make sure you get your books in a timely manner!

If you don't see your book in the next day or two, don't fret! There are a couple of factors to consider. Firstly, this week is Gen Con 50 and team Ravendesk is headed out to set up our booth in Indianapolis. Secondly, Studio 2 Publishing, who will be distributing our book and fulfilling the Vurt project will also be there, so the shipping process will likely take place over a few days in light of their smaller staff during the convention. 

The day has finally come! We're so excited to be able to announce the shipping of your books at long last.

The official, public release of Vurt the Tabletop Roleplaying Game is going to be in October, so when you get your copy show it around and let people know they can get one soon!

We will be at booth #2955 in Entrepreneur's Avenue, so please come by and see us! We owe you all a huge high-five for making Vurt a reality as well as for your patience and your participation in the production process.

Look! The books are real!

Well folks, it's official. Vurt the Tabletop Roleplaying Game, the Vurt Player's Guide and "They Keep to the Borderlands" are in print and on their way to the fulfillment warehouse! The pictures shown here are the proof copies which the printer sent for examination and we think they look great. I'm just so excited to finally be able to show you the product that will be arriving in your mailboxes soon (thumb not included).

I know that we've missed a couple of updates in the bustle of getting ready for Gen Con 50 and preparing for shipping and fulfillment. However, I'll be posting an update this coming Monday, the 14th with the official shipping announcement that you've all been waiting for.

Monday update 5/15

Player's Guide almost finished!

Greetings again, roboshads!

This past week we released the Kickstarter exclusive adventure They Keep to the Borderlands and we have already gotten some fantastic accounts of play sessions! Keep them coming at [email protected], we love hearing about how it's going!

Following that PDF release, we reformatted the adventure for printing and zapped it off to the printers! We're still awaiting confirmation, but we expect it will be arriving at the warehouse pretty soon. Also, this week we've been hewing away at the Player's Guide and we're just adding a few tweaks and fixes before it's finalized as well. We will send that document along as soon as it is finished and off to the printers. 

Gen Con is fast approaching and I just want to remind you that if you can hop into your Ford Comet, Plastic Pig or VTOL and blast over to Indianapolis at the end of August, we will be very excited to meet you in person! Alexander, Pete and myself will all be there this year so make sure and save some time to pop by the Ravendesk booth! (It is rumored that we will have some real coffee hidden behind the counter, which is almost as good for the brain as a fresh slice of inpho garlic!)
